Black IS... is the new single by SARAH SAYEED to be launched at Cargo on Thursday 3rd September 2009. What will follow is the release of the long awaited debut album, which SARAH SAYEED has been developing over the last two years.
SARAH SAYEED has been working relentlessly in 2009 recording album materials and is keen to ensure her first album is one that carries force and momentum. She continues to focus on developing a sound, which is truly unique to her. And her uniqueness comes from her voice and lyrical ability, no matter what music genre she touches.
SARAH SAYEED remains honest about her desire to get a record deal. She is proud of being an independent but is unsatisfied until she gets commercial backing.
So what can we eventually expect from her debut album?
A rich and textured album of finely delivered lyrics and tuned vocals, which have heart and soul throughout. It is her lifetimes work and testimony of experience.
When can we expect to hear it?
She won’t compromise on this one. Only when she is one hundred percent satisfied. It is taking all this time to get the right sound that she wants.
